The story behind DNA-Labs
The Genesis of FluxTerm
FluxTerm wasn't born in a corporate boardroom; it was born out of shared frustration. As engineers dealing with remote servers daily, we were tired of choosing between bloated corporate clients locked behind expensive subscriptions, or clunky legacy tools that looked like they belonged in the 90s. We needed something fast, beautiful, and powerful. Since it didn't exist, we decided to build it ourselves.
Meet DNA-Labs: Simone & Dario
DNA-Labs is a passion-driven project founded by two brothers: Simone and Dario. Dario is a Computer Engineer graduated from the University of Catania (Italy), where Simone is currently completing his degree. DNA-Labs is our laboratory for experimenting, coding, and solving the exact problems we face in our daily workflows. We pour our obsession for clean architecture and modern UI into every line of code.
By Engineers, For Engineers
Our philosophy is simple: we build the tools we want to use. We believe that the software connecting you to your infrastructure should be frictionless and accessible. That's why FluxTerm is 100% freeware. No paywalls, no corporate pressure, and no artificial limits. We share our work with the community because we believe good engineering should empower everyone.
Support the Lab
If FluxTerm saves you hours of work and makes your terminal experience better, you are already part of our journey. As an independent, self-funded duo, we rely on the support of our users to keep the servers running and the updates flowing.
